Per Gullstrand new CEO of Söderbergföretagen

Söderbergföretagen is a market leader in plastics, product identification and sheet metal in Scandinavia. Ever since the Group was formed in 1995, the Company has carried out a number of acquisitions, the latest being the Molybon Group in Trelleborg in February 2011. In line with the Company’s ambition to double its sales within five years, Söderbergföretagen is adding new expertise and industrial experience to its management team. Per Gullstrand will take over as CEO as soon as possible. Owner and founder, Jan Söderberg, is stepping back from day-to-day operations, but will continue as Chairman of the Board, focusing on areas such as corporate acquisitions. 

Söderbergföretagen has adopted an aggressive strategy, with the ambition of doubling sales within five years. To achieve this goal, Söderbergföretagen has recruited a new CEO, who will lead the process of developing the Group and generating additional growth. The growth target will be achieved by increasing the focus on profitability and through new acquisitions.

Per’s industrial experience will be a welcome reinforcement which will benefit the whole Group, and will bring new drive and expertise as we grow the Company”, says Jan Söderberg, founder and owner of Söderbergföretagen

Per Gullstrand, 44, is currently with the BE-Group in Malmö as Head of Business Area Central and Eastern Europe, and is a member of the Group management team. Per was educated at Lund University, and holds an International Executive MBA from Henley Management College in the UK. He has been with the BE-Group since 2005, and previously worked at Sandvik Rock Processing in Svedala, Svedala Arbrå, Svedala International and Trellex. Per lives in Höllviken with his partner and two children.

Of course, I realise that I have a lot to learn, and I need to familiarise myself with the range of operations carried on by Söderbergföretagen,” says Per Gullstrand, the new CEO of Söderbergföretagen.

Per Gullstrand is expected to take over as CEO of Söderbergföretagen as soon as possible.
