Companies within industrial group Söderbergföretagen merge to create STI Industriplast

STI Plast AB in Helsingborg and AB Svensk Industriplast merge into one company under the name STI Industriplast AB. Today, the two companies are a part of Söderbergföretagen, an industrial group of subcontractors within industrial plastic, product identification and sheet metal. The merged company had a turnover of MSEK 132 in 2008. The merger will enable STI Industriplast to address larger volumes of production and provide customers with faster deliveries. Customers are mainly manufacturing industries in the Nordic countries.

In order to adapt to the prevailing market and rationalize operations, STI Plast AB and AB Svensk Industriplast merge and form STI Industriplast. After the merger, the new company will offer a range of both hardware and hand-processed plastics. With facilities in Helsingborg and Malmö, the new company doubles its production capacity and will be able to take on larger orders.

“Now we are a complete plastic supplier which strengthens our position as market leader in processed plastics,” Zvonko Turujljia said, CEO of STI Industriplast, and continues:

“We have chosen the name STI Industriplast, which strengthens two already well-known brands on the market.”
