Elisolation

Elisolation was founded in 1974 and was previously owned by the ASEA (ABB) company Elektromikanit, which was operating in Laxå during the 1940s.

Since it was established, Elisolation has worked with the processing and selling of fibreglass-reinforced thermosetting resins and other insulation materials with good electrical, thermal and mechanical properties.

At present, Elisolation is a complete supplier of thermosetting and thermoplastic resins with a flexible organisation that, in many cases, offers the customers a halved production time in relation to its competitors where the work is more project-orientated. The company is today quality certified in accordance with ISO 9000:2000 and is working for environment certification in accordance with ISO 14001.

Elisolation was acquired in 1998 by the Söderbergföretagen industrialgroup, which is also the owner of Andrén & Söner, STI Industriplast, Molybon, MarkJet and Henjo Plåtteknik. Today it has sales of SEK 44 million and employs 29 people in Laxå.
