Söderbergföretagen strengthens its position in the Swedish plastics market through the acquisition of Andrén & Söner in Gothenburg

Söderbergföretagen, an industrial group with strong subcontractors in plastics and packaging, increases its industrial group through the purchase of Andrén & Söner in Gothenburg. Andrén & Söner has sales of SEK 105 million and supplies semi-finished and ready-made plastic parts to more than 2,500 industrial customers in the Nordic region. 

The acquisition means that Söderbergföretagen will become leader in its field, semi-finished and precision parts in plastic. After the acquisition, Söderbergföretagen will have sales of SEK 460 million and employ 200 people.

Andrén & Söner – a successful company in plastic materials – has its head office in Gothenburg and has been active in plastic materials since 1935. The company supplies both semi-finished and ready-made plastic parts, for application within the engineering industry, medical technology and the graphics industry among others. Andrén & Söner also runs a successful general agency operation of shrink films.
