Acquisition strategies
Söderbergföretagen is an actively engaged owner with well-documented competence in plastics and sheet metal solutions and offers capital reinforcement to those companies that are in need of taking the next step in their development.
Söderbergföretagen has an ambition to grow, above all within its existing companies, but also through strategic acquisitions. In acquisition situations, we are primarily interested in companies that meet the following criteria:
- The company is on the brink of a generational transition, sees advantages in being part of a larger industrial group or is in need new capital.
- The company has a documented profitability.
- The company has sales of at least SEK 50 million.
- The company is a subcontractor to Swedish industry mainly in plastics and sheet metal solutions or adjacent lines of business where Söderbergföretagen is already operating.
- The company, in the period of investment, is active in a fragmented market with the absence of a clear market leader.
